Elnaz started Retrader after seeing how overwhelming and confusing financial markets can be for everyday investors. Her goal was to simplify trading and create a structured pathway for those who want either to learn the markets themselves or invest through disciplined strategies. With an academic background and an MBA, Elnaz transitioned into financial markets over 15 years ago and founded Javanshir Academy where she has educated thousands of students for over a decade. Through her educational platforms, she has built a community of more than one million followers who engage with her insights on disciplined investing and market structure. Today, she leads Retrader with a focus on transparency, risk management and practical education bridging the gap between institutional strategy and everyday investors. She believes confidence in investing comes from understanding, not guessing.

Jaime ensures Retrader runs smoothly behind the scenes. She leads operations, technology and infrastructure building the systems that power disciplined investing and structured education. With extensive experience in enterprise technology and operational resilience, Jaime focuses on creating strong foundations that support consistent investment execution and long term growth. Her priority is ensuring investors can operate with clarity, stability and confidence.
Maryam Alishahi
Lead Full Stack Engineer
Maryam leads the development of Retrader’s platform overseeing both frontend and backend systems to ensure performance, scalability and reliability. She brings experience building secure, cloud based applications and payment systems with a strong focus on clean architecture and efficient delivery. Her approach combines technical precision with practical problem solving, helping transform strategic ideas into stable, high performing technology.
Louis Pearson
Head of Strategy & Growth
Louis brings over 14 years of experience in data analytics and risk optimisation having built his career at Starlizard Consulting in London. With a background in Economics and Mathematics he specialises in statistical modelling, exchange technology and transaction flow optimisation. He has applied his expertise across trading platforms and high performance environments, focusing on speed, structure and risk management. Based in the UAE he supports Retrader’s strategic expansion and growth initiatives across international markets.
John Ellison
Capital Markets Adviser
John brings extensive experience across capital markets, fund structuring and regulatory frameworks with a strong focus on building investment vehicles that align performance with compliance. He has worked closely with fund managers, authorised representatives and AFSL holders to design scalable structures across wholesale and managed investment environments. With deep knowledge of market infrastructure, governance requirements and distribution strategy John supports Retrader in navigating licensing pathways, structuring the fund architecture and strengthening institutional credibility. His background in capital formation and adviser networks provides strategic oversight as Retrader evolves from a trading platform into a professionally governed investment vehicle. John plays an active role in shaping Retrader’s fund strategy, regulatory alignment and long term capital markets positioning.
Ali Imani
Senior Trader
Ali Imani is a financial markets trader and crypto options strategist with experience across equities, forex, and digital assets. He began his career in 2018 in the Iranian stock market, building a strong foundation in market analysis and risk management before expanding into global markets. Currently he focuses on designing and executing options strategies in the cryptocurrency market, combining disciplined risk management with data driven decision making to navigate evolving market conditions for Retrader.
